English translation
:
Starting with Domino version 12.0.1FP1, some customers reported to me several months ago that quotas set on the NSF db's of the mails; were for some inexplicable reason also being applied to the DB present on the archive server in a completely random way.
This problem has become a priority for everyone who uses Domino as a mail tool and uses quotas in mail.
The negative effect is related to the end user not being able to archive his mail or the archiving process scheduled on the server (compact -a) could not complete the server side archiving due to reaching the "fake" quota on the archive.
Unfortunately, even with Domino version 12.0.2, this problem recurred, and as a result I had to open a case in HCL-again because with 12.01FP1, HCL claimed to be unable to reproduce it-and guide HCL by providing precise instructions to recreate the scenario.
Fortunately, after HCL was able to reproduce the problem only two weeks later, they released working hotfixes for both version 12.0.1FP1 and 12.0.2 to me.
The problem I hypothesize is a regression BUG that had been fixed with version 12.01 as stated in this old HCL technote, but unfortunately was reintroduced starting with version 12.01FP1
https://support.hcltechsw.com/csm?id=kb_article&sysparm_article=KB0095914

An initial workaroud was to insert the NOTES.INI parameter DISABLE_REPL_QUOTA=1, which however has the disadvantage that in a cluster environment it disables the quota cluster on NSFs (a feature introduced in Release 12)
From what I understand; it seems that the problem occurs at 01:00 in the Night and the culprit was within the Domino Design task code, which by default is executed thanks to this instruction in the Notes.ini

SERVERTASKSAT1=Catalog,Design

Fortunately, all's well that ends well; HCL a few days ago, provided me with the 4 HotFixes (Windows and Linux for both version12.0.1FP1 and 12.0.2) that seem to work as promised.

This SPR will be included in 12.01FP2 and 12.0.2FP1 planned for this Q1 or early Q2 2023.

If any of you have the same problem; open a case in HCL and refer to CASE CS0363408, so that you can install the hotfix while waiting for the next fix pack release
